Each camper is allowed 2 standard-sized soft-duffel bags (approximately 36”x16”x16” and weighing no more than 50 pounds per bag).

We discourage the use of any extra-large or oversized bags (over 42” in length) as they will likely result in additional shipping fees.

Camper luggage may be dropped off on See CJ DaySee CJ Day,, dropped off on Opening Day, or shipped to camp in advance. Camp Judaea staff members will help each camper unpack and settle in when they arrive. Our goal is to have most campers’ luggage delivered to their cabins before camper arrival so they can immediately begin settling in when they arrive.

If you are shipping your bags, please notify us through the Travel Form on your CampInTouch or Campanion App dashboard.

All families are responsible for the cost of shipping bags to and from camp.

Z&P Baggage, founded by CJ parents and alumni, offers a convenient service for transporting camper's bags to and from Camp. Z&P Baggage ensures bags are delivered to cabins in an organized manner before campers arrive. The cost is $70 per bag, each way, regardless of weight, with larger bags incurring a $100 fee. Payment is required upon bag drop-off, and they accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle. The drop-off and pick-up location is in Davie, by the Posnack JCC, with the exact address provided in the confirmation email upon registration.

If you plan to ship baggage to camp on your own, through FedEx or UPS please coordinate the delivery at least four days prior to the beginning of the session. Camp bags can not be shipped with USPS. Bags should be clearly labeled with the camper’s name and division.

If you plan on return shipping your camper's bags from camp, please make prior arrangements with either FedEx or UPS to pick-up on the afternoon of Closing Day after 12pm EST. The carrier will either provide the label upon pickup or email you a printable label which you can email Gayle Kaplan at [email protected].

On See CJ DaySee CJ Day, we will have luggage drop-off available at camp on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 (First Session) and Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (Second Session) between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm for any families already in the area. If you cannot bring your luggage on those dates, we will gladly accept it on Opening Day.
